Hey there, Georgy girl,
Why do all the boys just pass you by?
Could it be you just don’t try,
Or is it the clothes you wear?

You’re always window shopping but never stopping to buy.
So, shed those dowdy feathers and fly,
A little bit.

Hey there, Georgy girl.
There’s another Georgy deep inside.
Bring out all the love you hide,
And oh what a change there’d be.
The world would see,
A new Georgy girl!

Wake up Georgy girl!
Come on Georgy girl!
— Georgy Girl - The Seekers (1966 - written for the movie of the same name)

I’ve not written for a bit. Nothing wrong. Just busy. A lot has happened and there is a lot to cover. I will try and hit a number of topics in 3,4,5…9 sentences or less! Here goes:

Party of Criminals: A young and beautiful Ukrainian refugee is brutally murdered on a train by a criminal with 14 prior arrests and all the Democrats can talk about is how the murderer did not have proper government funded mental health services. The presumptive next Mayor of New York City explains how he will let most of the people in jail out and eliminate any tracking of them by law enforcement. Trump dispatches the national guard to keep peace in Washington DC and suddenly there are no murders but Democrats are appalled and want this to stop. ICE agents arrest violent criminal after violent criminal and all the Dems want to do is arrest ICE agents. The Democrats are the party of criminals. Full stop.

Racism: If Iryna Zurutska had been black and her murderer a white heterosexual, would the leftist press cover it differently? Of course they would have. A white person is 37 times more likely to be a victim of a crime from a black person than the reverse.  This is not racism. It is fact. Racism is the way Democrats and the press make crime against some races bad and against others (Jews for example) basically deserved.

World Peace: Trump wants to be the president that brings peace to the world. Mr. Putin and Islamic groups are making that difficult. What happens from here? Will Trump allow these conflicts to escalate with or without U.S. involvement? Or, does he focus on “Fortress America” or North and South America and leave Europe and Asia to deal with their own problems? Or, is there a middle ground?

Gavin Gruesom: California has the highest poverty rate in the country. It also has the highest gasoline and electricity rates. It has a massive fiscal deficit in spite of amongst the highest tax rates in the country. It also has almost half of the all the homeless in the country. It is losing population and business. But yet it’s current governor thinks he can use this as a platform to become president? Really? About the only thing Newsom hasn’t screwed up in California is the weather. His latest thing is to have staffers tweet for him like Trump, with insults and all caps. How do you run against a guy when you are trying to imitate him? And imitate him badly. The fact that he leads polling for the Dem nomination in 2028 shows how weak that field is.

Military Preparedness: We saw the Israelis detonate pagers of Hamas operatives no matter where they were. But, having Chinese chips and software in many American products including military products is not a concern? With the war in Ukraine we have seen how technology is where the next war will be won and lost and not necessarily with ships, planes and tanks. Similar to how the machine gun ended horse cavalry or the aircraft carrier rendered the battleship obsolete, this country needs a massive investment in military technology to remain the world’s superpower. And every single bit of that technology must be designed and made in the United States.

Redistricting: The Democrats started the latest, but certainly not the first, gerrymandering wave in Massachusetts and Illinois. Republicans in the past have been happy to lose while being “principled.” No more. Losing means all your principled policies will be overturned. So, Texas responded. California is now trying to respond to Texas. Other states will follow. If every state does it, the balance probably shifts slightly towards Republicans.

Rigged Elections: There has been much news about a person in Costa Mesa who registered her dog to vote. The dog subsequently voted in two elections. The completely worthless news media in California is all about the crime this person committed. That misses the point. If registering and voting a non-human in California is so easy, imagine how easy it is to register and vote illegal aliens and any other human who should be ineligible to vote. California is not as blue as it seems. The elections are totally rigged. You can’t mail 21 million ballots out and leave them to be picked up and voted by anyone anywhere up to seven days after the election without massive fraud. But Democrats are better at fraud than Republicans so they love it.

Illegal Aliens: They are not “immigrants who entered without permission,” as the Wall Street Journal calls them. I hear about how Americans will not do these jobs if we send them all home. In rural Kansas where we have a farm and ranch, there are no illegal aliens. But, houses get cleaned, cars get washed and lawns are mowed. Amazing! But in California where my children live, Illegal aliens fill up the schools, jails, beaches and emergency rooms costing tens of billions of dollars (and maybe more than a hundred billion) annually to taxpayers. The cost of that illegal mowing your lawn is way more than the $16 an hour you are paying them. When you add up all the hidden costs, they cost way, way more than it would cost to have American citizens do those jobs and pay them a decent wage that they will accept.

The Press: However much you hate the formerly “mainstream” press, you don’t hate them enough. They exist only to promote a Leftist narrative. There is no news involved. I see how everything bad happening is Trump’s fault. But somehow, Biden did nothing wrong whatsoever. They interview cabinet members and cut out the parts that don’t fit their narrative. These outlets are actually getting worse. I did not know that was possible.

AutoPen: It is now clear that President Biden had nothing whatsoever to do with thousands of pardons that were issued by the White House. They were done by staffers, and in some cases Kamala Harris, using the AutoPen. Every one of those pardons was illegal and should be revoked.

Hyundai: States like Georgia gave significant incentives to lure foreign businesses like Hyundai to locate manufacturing in their state. The idea, of course, was to create jobs for Americans. And now we find out that not only were the plants not filled with Americans but in fact they weren’t even legal foreigners. Hyundai (and TSMC in Arizona) has said that no Americans were trained to do these jobs. Taking them at their word…then train some! These plants were not subsidized to employ Koreans and Chinese!

Democrats: We have already established that they are the party of criminals. But they are also the party of illegal aliens, needlessly expensive energy, Islamic militants, anti-semitism, transgender supremacy, men in women’s sports and death from drug cartels, criminals and people high on pot. These are not popular issues. I get some Dem fundraising messages for some reason and their sole message is “save our democracy.” Translated that means, let us violate the constitution in order to promote Neo-Marxism instead of conservative populism.

Trump: As I have said many times, I did not vote for Trump in the primary in 2016 or 2024. But, I am happier with him than with any president in my lifetime. What I like most is the courage to stand up for what is right without fear of the press, or the Democrats or the deep state (a real thing) or foreign leaders. Every single cabinet member is also showing this kind of courage to do things that conservatives have been talking and writing about since Goldwater, but never took action out of fear of losing the next election. And now he wants to allow prayer in schools again. Bravo Donald Trump! Keep it up!

Lastly: Can you imagine what would be going on in this country and the world had that moron Kamala Harris been elected? Don’t. It will disturb your sleep.

This week’s song has absolutely nothing to do with anything I wrote about. I just like it. And it received an Academy Award nomination in 1966 for best original song. It lost to “Born Free.” Born Free was a better movie, maybe not a better song.

I remain respectfully,
Congressman John Campbell
